In the first game of a three team doubleheader, the Warriors pounded out 16 hits in the 14-0 win over Madison. The Warriors had 12 RBIs on the game.
Coach Stolsig has been very pleased with the defense and pitching so far in these three games and was very pleased with the offensive execution Saturday as well.
Dylan Studer went 4 shutout innings on the mound keeping the Senators hitless and striking out 7 hitters. Studer also had two hits including a double. Nichols Fandino, Teagan Maloney, and Corbin Anderson were used in relief holding the Senators scoreless the rest of the way.
The Warriors have begun the season 3-0.
Madison went on to play Central in the second game of the doubleheader on Croco Field. Central took that game 3-0.
