Multiple Teams · Warrior baseball comes up short against McNary


The Warriors gave up 4 runs in the first inning and then held McNary creating  a tie in the 5th inning.  In the 4th , Theron Harter hit a well hit ball to the shortstop that he mis-handled. After an out, Cole Weber singled. Curtis Jones then drove in Harter with a single. After another misplayed ground ball, Weber scored. Teagan Maloney drove in Jones with a well hit sacrifice fly.

Dylan Studer tied the game in the 5th with a solo homerun to right field. McNary put up two runs in the 5th and the Warriors could not mount a rally after that.

Zack Ragan went 5 inning on the mound striking out 7 and walking 3. Nichols Fandino pitched a perfect 6th inning.

Next action for the Warriors is Friday in Viro Beach Florida.
